Introduction
Sugal & Damani UK Limited (SDUK) is licensed by the Gambling Commission of UK to function as an External Lottery Manager and intends to run lotteries on behalf of charitable societies in UK to help them raise funds for special projects and general development. Sugal & Damani UK Limited would own the responsibility of operating lotteries while societies can continue to focus on their charitable activities.
In 2007, SDUK, in consortium with Financial Technologies (http://www.ftindia.com/), Gopsons Papers Limited (http://www.gopsons.com/) and Deutsche Bank (http://www.db.com/), bid for the UK National Lottery and was one of the final 2 short listed bidders for the UK National Lottery.
